Broadview FCU spreading cheer
For decades, Broadview has spread holiday cheer by partnering with local nonprofit organizations to provide thousands of individuals and families with holiday gifts.
Broadview volunteers will once again deliver special presents, including toys, clothes, housewares, and other necessities for children, veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families throughout upstate New York.
Holiday Sharing remains Broadview’s most collective annual effort to support the community. The program has already raised more than $200,000 to support 75 nonprofit organizations and 5,000 individuals in the Capital Region, Buffalo, Binghamton, and Syracuse.
Distribution will occur this Wednesday morning (12/6) from Broadview’s Operations Center at 700 Patroon Creek Boulevard in Albany (further details below).
Holiday Sharing is funded by in-branch and online donations from Broadview employees and members. The donations are used to purchase a wide range of gifts including warm clothing, cookware, cleaning supplies, toiletries and, of course, toys. Broadview teams wrap the gifts and prepare them for distribution, filling the company auditorium with bags of presents. In addition, Broadview has also donated more than 3,500 winter coats for distribution by nonprofits.
